Stats Tier List

The welcome screen of Agartha Mog or Die prints four icons in a row: FACE, FRAME, HEIGHT, BODYFAT. Mog Battles compare those four. There is no public fifth stat. This page ranks them for winning fights, not for looking good in a thumbnail. Pair it with the item index for drop identities and with how to grow for the walking route.

S-tier: Frame and Face

Frame (Picture Frames) is S-tier because players skip it. The name does not sound like a combat stat. The compare disagrees. If you are taller and still lose, Frame is the first hole to audit. Frames are also the pickup that feels scarcest on a casual circuit, which makes a Frame-complete sheet rare on a ten-player server.

Face (Hammers) is S-tier because the game is literally about mogging. Hammers are how Face moves. A Height farmer who never picks up Hammers is a walking tutorial. During a 2x window, Hammers are the pickup you break stride for.

Neither Frame nor Face survives a MOG wipe. They are still S-tier because they decide whether you get wiped.

A-tier: Height and low Bodyfat

Height (Milk) is A-tier. It is required. It is abundant. It is the entire marketing image. Overfarming it is the default mistake. Drink Milk on the same loop as Water so you do not finish a session as a giant with starter Bodyfat. Height gets you challenged. Frame and Face get you through the challenge.

Bodyfat (Water, lower is better) is A-tier as a fail condition. High Bodyfat is how a “finished” character still loses. Water is easy to walk past because it does not change the silhouette as dramatically as Milk. Treat Water as a tax you pay every circuit.

If a later patch makes Milk rare or Water plentiful, these two can swap with S-tier. Watch the updates hub.

Plot EXP is a shadow S-tier

The Mog Upgrader is not one of the four compare stats. It is the thing that remains when the four get deleted. Tutorial 10/12 is the developer telling you the rank. Buy it. The stat planner puts it above Lucky Spins for a reason.

NPC captures are not a compare stat either. They complete the plot. A pad that still says NO NPC PLACED is a sign your loop is unfinished. See NPCs.

Dump-stat patterns we see in losses

  • Milk-only giant: loses to Face/Frame.
  • Hammer-only “pretty” face on a short body: loses to Height plus anything else.
  • No Water: loses to anyone who drank on the same circuit.
  • No Frames: loses the “but I am taller” argument.
  • No Upgrader: loses the session even when they win the screenshot.

Fix the pattern, do not rematch on tilt. Mog Battles is the application layer.

Lucky Spin abilities are not on this table. They live on builds because they are rolls, not pickups.

How to use this list in a session

After a loss, name the hole in one word: Frame, Face, Height, or Bodyfat. Then walk only for that pickup plus Water (always). Then deposit at the pad. Then take an NPC, not a player. That is the whole skill. The tier list hub exists so you do not need a twenty-page theorycraft for a four-stat game.

When Update 3 publishes numeric weights (if it ever does), this page will show the weights. Until then, “no holes” beats “max Height.” Kings with holes get mogged by balanced SUB5s who read the welcome card.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for SUB5 players climbing toward Mog King.

Which stat should I raise first?

Buy plot EXP first, then patch Face or Frame if they are starter-level. Milk is abundant. See the stat planner.

Is Bodyfat a real battle stat?

Yes. The compare includes it. Water lowers it. Lower is better.

Why is Height only A-tier?

Because it is easy to overfarm and it does not save you if Face or Frame is empty. Thumbnails lie.

Do these ranks change after a wipe?

The compare ranks stay. What you *keep* is plot EXP. Rebuild using how to grow.
