Getting Started in Agartha Mog or Die

From SUB5 spawn to a plot that still exists after someone mogs you.

Getting Started

Agartha Mog or Die throws a lot of meme vocabulary at a first join, but the opening hour is a short tutorial plus a pickup loop. You spawn as a tiny SUB5, read a welcome card, claim a colored plot on a suburban map, then start converting world drops into four numbers the game will later compare in a Mog Battle. This page is that first hour, in order, without skipping the upgrade that actually survives a wipe.

The experience is free on Roblox, ten players per server, built by Build a Ore Farm, and live since 26 July 2026. You do not need a game pass to finish this guide. The store catalog can wait until the pad is insured.

The welcome card

The first full-screen card is titled WELCOME! and spells the loop in three lines:

  • Collect items. Build stats.
  • Mog NPCs. Capture rivals.
  • Grow your plot. Evolve.

Under those lines sit four icons: FACE, FRAME, HEIGHT, BODYFAT. That is the entire combat sheet. There is no hidden fifth stat in the current client. Tap START PLAYING! and look at the ground. Plots show NO NPC PLACED until you capture someone. Your pad is the one the tutorial points at.

Tutorial beats you should not skip

The live HUD shows a numbered tutorial. Screenshot evidence from the Codes window captures TUTORIAL 10/12 — PERMANENT POWER — BUY YOUR FIRST UPGRADE. The card tells you to use the Mog Upgrader at your plot because permanent EXP upgrades survive getting Mogged. That sentence is the most important line in the game.

Everything you drink and smash in the world is a run stat. A player who beats you and picks MOG erases that run. Upgrader purchases stay. If you skip step 10 to go hunt Milk, you are building a body someone else can delete for MogPoints.

Work through the earlier beats until the HUD is free. If a card covers the Codes modal, finish or close the card, then redeem. Do not fight a player during tutorial 1–9. NPCs exist for a reason.

First purchases and first codes

Once the Upgrader is visible, open Codes (top left, button or hash icon) and paste every string on the codes hub. As of 29 August 2026 that is tyfor300likes, tyfor1.5klikes, Update2, and extracode. Two of those start a 30-minute 2x All Progress timer. Do not redeem them unless you can stay in the session.

Spend the 2,500 MogPoints from tyfor300likes on the Upgrader before Lucky Spins if you are broke. Spins are fun. Plot EXP is insurance. The stat planner has the exact spend order.

First pickup loop

Walk off the pad into the neighborhood. Milk cartons sit in the world as 3D props — the collect screenshot on this wiki shows one on the pavement beside a starter character. Grab:

  • Milk → Height
  • Hammers → Face
  • Picture Frames → Frame
  • Water → lower Bodyfat

Details and later-session gold pickups live in how to grow and the item index. For the first twenty minutes, ignore Risk Zones. You do not have the HP or the plot yet.

Return to the pad when the inventory feels heavy. Buy another Upgrader rank. Then look for an NPC, not a pumped player. The Mog Battle guide explains SPARE versus MOG. For your first win, SPARE is fine. You want the fight experience more than you want to make an enemy on a ten-player server.

What “capture” means on day one

The welcome card says Mog NPCs. Capture rivals. Empty plots read NO NPC PLACED. Captured NPCs belong on your pad as proof of a win and as later plot content. Do not skip placing them. A bare plot is a sign you have not finished the loop even if your Height looks decent in a mirror emote.

A clean first-hour checklist

  1. Read the welcome card and claim the plot.
  2. Push tutorial to the Mog Upgrader.
  3. Redeem live codes and start 2x only if you can farm.
  4. Run one Milk / Hammer / Frame / Water loop.
  5. Buy permanent EXP.
  6. Beat one NPC. SPARE them.
  7. Place the capture. Buy another upgrade.
  8. Only then read how to play for the repeatable loop or controls if a bind feels wrong.

If a player mogs you during this hour, you should lose Milk height and Face ranks — not the Upgrader. That is the definition of a successful start. Come back, redeem nothing twice (codes are one-time), and rebuild the run on top of the plot that is still there.

The Mog King guide is not for this session. Titles wait until you can survive a wipe without rage-quitting. Get the pad insured, then go hunting.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for SUB5 players climbing toward Mog King.

What is a SUB5 in Agartha Mog or Die?

The default tiny starter body. The whole onboarding loop is leaving that body behind with Milk, Hammers, Frames, and Water.

What should I buy first?

The Mog Upgrader on your plot. Permanent EXP survives a MOG wipe. See the stat planner.

When do I redeem codes?

After the HUD is clickable, before a long farm. Follow how to redeem so the tutorial overlay does not eat the click.

Should I fight players in the first hour?

No. Practice on NPCs as described in Mog Battles. Player wipes delete the run you just doubled with codes.
