Agartha Mog or Die How to Win Mog Battles
The compare, the SPARE/MOG choice, and how to not donate a 2x run.
Mog Battles are the reason Agartha Mog or Die is not a walking simulator. After you build Face, Frame, Height, and Bodyfat, you challenge an NPC or a player. The client compares those four numbers. The winner chooses the loser’s fate. SPARE lets them keep the run. MOG erases the run and pays you MogPoints. That is the entire ruleset, and it is enough to ruin a session if you press the prompt by accident.
Read this before you touch a player. NPCs exist so you can learn the compare without feeding a stranger.
What the game actually compares
The Roblox description is explicit: battles compare Face, Frame, Height, and Bodyfat. There is no documented hidden tie-breaker in public patch notes. If you are losing to people who look shorter, you are probably losing Frame or Face, or you never drank Water so Bodyfat is still a dump stat. Check the stat tier list and patch the hole with the item loop instead of rematching on tilt.
Height is the screenshot stat. It is also the easiest to overfarm. A Milk-only character is a billboard that says “please mog me.” Hammers and Frames have to travel with you. Water has to travel with you. The growth guide is written around that balance.
NPC fights first
The welcome card says Mog NPCs. Capture rivals. NPC battles are the tutorial for the compare and the source of the bodies you place on a pad that currently reads NO NPC PLACED. Fight NPCs until:
- You can predict who wins before the animation.
- You have at least one capture on the plot.
- You have spent MogPoints at the Mog Upgrader so a later player wipe is not a full reset.
If an NPC beats you, you needed more farm, not a script, not a rematch spam. Walk. The how to play loop is the fix.
SPARE or MOG
SPARE is politics. The loser keeps Milk, Hammers, Frames, and Water progress. You get a cleaner server. People you spare are less likely to camp your pad. Use SPARE on obvious beginners, on people who clearly just redeemed a 2x code, and on anyone you might want to 1v1 later for practice.
MOG is the cash-out. Their run dies. You get MogPoints. Use MOG on NPCs you do not need as friends, on rivals who mogged you last round, and on players who challenged you while you were clearly shopping. Do not MOG someone and then AFK on the pad. You just created a person with a reason to come back with a better sheet.
There is no moral meter in the UI. There is a ten-player server and a plot you have to stand on. Choose with that in mind.
When you should refuse a fight
Refuse or walk if:
- A 2x timer is still running. The codes hub paid for that timer. Do not donate it.
- You have not bought the tutorial Upgrader yet. Getting Started is not optional.
- Your Bodyfat or Frame is still starter-level.
- The other player just walked out of a farm with a full bag and a taller body than your screenshot.
You can always farm more. You cannot un-mog yourself.
After you lose
If they SPARE you, treat it as a free scout. Note which stat felt short. Fix it.
If they MOG you, your run is gone. Plot EXP from the Mog Upgrader remains. That is why the tutorial exists. Do not rage-buy Lucky Spins. Do not paste expired codes. Walk the item index again, then buy the next Upgrader rank you can afford. The stat planner is the wipe-recovery menu.
After you win
Bank MogPoints. Place a capture if the NPC rules allow it. Buy plot power before you queue the next player. A win streak without deposits is how a later loss wipes four fights of work.
If you are hunting the title, stop here and open Become Mog King. That page is about pacing a server, not about the compare math.
Fair-play notes
Challenges that pop during looting are easy to accept by mistake on mobile. Face the camera away from other pads while you pick up Milk. The controls page lists the HUD traps.
There are no verified public combat scripts for this experience. Anyone selling a “guaranteed mog” loadstring is lying or handing you a ban. The scripts hub is the safety page. Win with stats you actually collected.
Mog Battles are the hook. They are also the leak. Plug the leak with Upgrader ranks, then open the tap on purpose.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for SUB5 players climbing toward Mog King.
What stats are compared in a Mog Battle?
Face, Frame, Height, and Bodyfat. Patch holes with the item index before rematching.
What is the difference between SPARE and MOG?
SPARE lets the loser keep the run. MOG deletes the run and pays you MogPoints. Plot upgrades still survive a MOG.
Should I mog every player I beat?
No. SPARE beginners and people on a 2x timer. MOG when you need MogPoints and can handle the revenge. See Mog King for pacing.
I got mogged. Did I lose my plot upgrades?
No. Tutorial 10/12 is explicit: permanent EXP from the Mog Upgrader survives. Rebuild the run with how to grow.
